This policy explains what information Her Soft Reset (“we”, “us”) collects when you visit mysoftreset.org or buy from our shop, how we use it, and the choices you have. If you have any questions, email softreset@mysoftreset.org.
What we collect
- Order details — your name, email address, billing address and what you bought, so we can deliver your downloads and keep records.
- Payment details — handled securely by our payment processors. We never see or store your full card number.
- Account details — if you create an account: your name, email and password, plus your order and download history.
- Newsletter sign-ups — your email address and, if you give it, your first name.
- Messages — anything you send us by email.
- Technical information — like your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit, collected automatically by our website, hosting and security tools, and recorded when you download a file.
How we use it
- To process your order, deliver your files and send order emails
- To answer your questions and help with downloads or refunds
- To send our newsletter and new-product updates, if you signed up — every email has an unsubscribe link
- To keep the site secure, prevent fraud and understand what’s working
- To meet our legal and tax obligations
We don’t sell your personal information.
Who we share it with
Only with the services that help us run the shop, and only what they need:
- WooPayments (powered by Stripe) — card payments and fraud checks. If you choose Affirm, Klarna, Afterpay, Apple Pay, Google Pay or Amazon Pay at checkout, that provider handles your payment under its own privacy policy.
- WooCommerce and WordPress — the software our shop runs on.
- Hostinger — our website host and newsletter service (Hostinger Reach).
- Google Fonts — to display our fonts, which shares your IP address with Google.
- Authorities, if the law requires it.
Cookies
We use cookies to keep items in your cart, keep you logged in, remember your checkout details and understand how people find our shop. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though the cart and checkout may not work without them.
How long we keep it
We keep order records for as long as we need them for tax and accounting — usually up to 7 years. Newsletter details are kept until you unsubscribe. Account details are kept until you ask us to delete your account.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop using it for marketing, by emailing softreset@mysoftreset.org. Depending on where you live — for example California, the UK or the EU — you may have additional rights, such as receiving a copy of your data or complaining to your local data protection authority. We’ll respond within 30 days.
Children
Our shop is for adults. We don’t knowingly collect information from children under 13 (under 16 in the UK and EU).
Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, we’ll change the date at the top of this page.
